Of late, many visitors to this Blog "Antareeyam" have pointedout that I am losing the focus on ONNARA, and that I am posting 'something' on modern innerwears. These visitors have asked me to mainly look at the following.
1. Focus more on our traditional ONNARA.
2. Put coverage of modern stuff on back-burner.
3. Put good photographs/video/descriptions on ONNARA.
4. Modify the looks of the blog.
I value these suggestions very much. I shall try to do justice to them. However, I have certain limitations regarding posting of pictures/video on Onnara. Basically, it's the difficulty in getting videos on this topic. However, I shall take further efforts on this need.
Thank you all visitors who have commented on various posts/topics. More comments and suggestions are welcome.
I apologize for the deficiencies in this blog. I shall take further efforts.
THANK YOU ALL

Thanks for the quick, positive response from a genuine Onnara lover.
In fact, till I saw your site, I never knew that some males are so fetish about this attire. I was wondering whether something was wrong with me as this liking had followed me right from my young age. Still, I don't know why some males fancy so much for this traditional wear which most women these days desist. I don't think any of the new age girls or for that matter even the now living old generations go for Onnara as they have all migrated to more convenient ones. Even if you travel from one end of Kerala to the other, it is difficult to see a single one wearing Onnara. I happened to be in Guruvayur Arattu last year, where I could see so many women dipping in the pond along with the idol and then walking around the temple with wet clothes. But there too, not even a single woman was spotted wearing onnara. Though the customary Set Mundu is very much in vogue, Onnara as an innerwear is completely replaced. Advent of easy availabilty of fancy coloured modern inner wears at affordable prices have sounded the death knell for Onnara. But like some of those old traditional stuffs becoming fashion again among the youths, can it revive itself ?
