Saree and Onnara - Rape retardants
Today's newspaper (The Hindu) carries an article which I am reproducing below. Wife of a Goa Minister made certain revelations last day. The Minister now have endorsed her views.
That's about wearing the Saree. Saree and kumkum , she said, are safe against sexual harassments.
Must be right !
But I am sure about one fact. "Wear Onnara , Avoid Rape".
You may wonder how Onnara can avoid a rape. If you have read some of my posts earlier in this blog regarding the advantages of wearing Onnara, you would understand that.
The modern undergarments - panties - are so thin and soft, it just cannot guard / protect the private parts properly. It easily gives way for any intentional act, and so cannot deter a criminal .
But, an Onnara, worn properly, would block the criminal from doing the act. Onnara acts as a fairly strong shield around the private parts . It takes much effort to open up , without her consent. That's how Onnara becomes an Anti-rape undergarment .

How to save Malaysian women ?
How to save Malaysian women from doing a crime ?
Did you read the last post ? Yeah... Malaysian women are in a problem. Let's help them.
The solution is simple. They should wear Onnara. Onnara is the right remedy for 'farting'. If you are in doubt, ask our senior ladies and grandmas who are used to wearing onnara. It's true that a rightly worn onnara can save you from blasting off ( breaking the wind). It's not that Onnara will block farting, but it can manage the pressure smooth and silent.

Apologies
Of late, many visitors to this Blog "Antareeyam" have pointedout that I am losing the focus on ONNARA, and that I am posting 'something' on modern innerwears. These visitors have asked me to mainly look at the following.
1. Focus more on our traditional ONNARA.
2. Put coverage of modern stuff on back-burner.
3. Put good photographs/video/descriptions on ONNARA.
4. Modify the looks of the blog.
I value these suggestions very much. I shall try to do justice to them. However, I have certain limitations regarding posting of pictures/video on Onnara. Basically, it's the difficulty in getting videos on this topic. However, I shall take further efforts on this need.

Onnara : How tight ?
Onnara : How tight should the thaar be ? The snap below tells you how it should be. The knot at the end ensures tightness and prevents auto-removal. So you can be sure your thaar is in place, with adequate tightness. Ensures comfort and avoids need for frequent tightening.
But make sure you wear the thaar at waist level, and not too low. If its low, the thaar is likely to get loosened. So be cautious !!
